Toormina barely has to reach for its TV. The transmitter is an Optus monopole on the Toormina water reservoir off Belbowrie Road, 900 m from the town centre, and Mount Moombil comes in from the west just as strongly on the coverage data. So when a picture plays up here it is rarely about distance, and we look at the antenna, the cabling and the connections instead. The rest of our Toormina work is indoors: wall-mounted TVs, WiFi blackspots, and data points where you actually want them.
In the newer brick homes, WiFi often struggles to reach the back rooms or the garage; an access point or a short data-cable run fixes that for good. Outside, the coast is 1.6 km away, close enough that mounts still get the corrosion-resistant treatment.

Is Toormina's TV transmitter really on the water reservoir?
It is: an Optus monopole on the Toormina water reservoir off Belbowrie Road, 900 m from the town centre, broadcasting channels 46 to 50 at 500 watts. Mount Moombil also reaches Toormina at full predicted strength on channels 35 to 39, so the suburb has two solid aims to choose from.
Why doesn't Toormina use the northern beaches transmitter?
Emerald Heights is 23.3 km away and the terrain between cuts 65 m into its path, so the coverage data rates it unlikely here. The north coast tower is simply not Toormina's tower. Local antennas face the reservoir monopole or Mount Moombil instead.
What fixes a WiFi blackspot in a brick home?
Brick and block walls soak up WiFi, so the fix is placement rather than power: an access point positioned where the coverage actually needs to be, or a data point cabled to the far end of the house. Both are standard jobs for us in Toormina's estates.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. One year on parts and two years on workmanship, plus free phone advice if something plays up after we have gone.
My picture keeps dropping out, can you fix reception?
Most reception problems come down to the antenna, the cabling or the signal level. We test it on site and fix the actual cause, not just the symptom.
Can you get me internet where there is no good signal?
Yes. We install and align Starlink, and fit 4G and 5G signal boosters for homes and rural properties the towers struggle to reach.
How does pricing work?
The call-out fee is $99 and covers the first half hour on site. If the job needs more than that, you get the full price before any work begins, and we never carry on into extra work without checking with you first.
