Where does Bonville TV reception come from, and which way does the antenna point?
North-east, at the Toormina reservoir tower 4 km away, which carries channels 46 to 50 at 500 watts on a clear path to town. Mount Moombil, on channels 35 to 39, is the backup option. What an individual block gets is still worth measuring, especially with trees in the picture, so we meter on site.
Is Starlink a fix for bad TV reception?
No, they solve different problems. Starlink is internet. If the television picture is the problem, the fixes are the antenna, the cabling, or VAST satellite TV, which is checked per address. If the internet is the problem on a Bonville block, Starlink is on the table, and we install and align it.
Do Bonville homes need coastal-grade antenna hardware?
