Which way do Moonee Beach antennas point?
Just east of due north, at the Emerald Heights transmitter 4.9 km away. It broadcasts channels 28 to 32 and it is vertically polarised, the only site on this coast that is, so the antenna is mounted for that plane. Mount Moombil is the alternative for sites that suit it, on channels 35 to 39.
Can WiFi reach the alfresco or a shed on a Moonee Beach block?
Usually, with the right gear in the right spot. A well-placed access point covers an alfresco or garage, and for a shed or granny flat further out, a point-to-point wireless bridge carries the connection, up to 5 km if it ever needed to. We run data cabling where a wired point makes more sense.
Does salt reach the houses that are not on the beachfront?
The centre of Moonee Beach is only 800 m from the water, so we treat the whole area as coastal when it comes to hardware, because it is the brackets and connections that give out near the sea, not usually the antenna.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. One year on parts and two years on workmanship, plus free phone advice if something plays up after we have gone.

How does pricing work?
The call-out fee is $99 and covers the first half hour on site. If the job needs more than that, you get the full price before any work begins, and we never carry on into extra work without checking with you first.
